Public collections of visiting card cases are few and far between. However, in addition to one or two public collections, private collections are offered for sale at auction from time to time. Such sales not only give collectors the opportunity to study and handle various styles of case, they also demonstrate the diversity of the visiting card case and how one may shape a collection to reflect ones own tastes, preferences and budget.
