This four-colour gold card-case in Louis XVI style is by Fabergé. It is chased with an archway with, at its centre, a monogram with a royal crown above and decorated with four-colour gold floral swags suspended from rosettes, all on a yellow-gold sablé ground. It is signed Fabergé, initials of workmaster August Holmström, assay mark of St. Petersburg pre-1899, inventory no. 2140. It measures 84mm high.
